Tindle Concerto Mvt1 video and UCLA!

I am so excited to share the first movement of Robert Tindle‘s “At 60 Miles an Hour” concerto for #BassTrombone! Commissioning this piece in 2016 with the help of the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra was one of the highlights of my career, Robert and I had a blast recording the piano reduction last May, and we are SO EXCITED to bring it to Los Angeles on May 30, 2018 for the world premiere for wind ensemble featuring Travis Cross and the UCLA Wind Ensemble! Mark your calendars

Huge thanks to Keenan Recording for capturing the beautiful sound of my Edwards Instrument Co. bass trombone and to Matt for creating such a beautiful video. Movement 2 coming next month!

For more info about the genesis of this piece, check out my SEISO Residency Overview.
