Des Moines LOW BRASS DAY was a music education event hosted by The DMLBT (Casey Maday, Will Baker and Bo Atlas).

Students were coached on brass techniques that will improve their music making, sound production, breathing, ensemble playing, and practice efficiency. The day featured performances and masterclasses led by the faculty trio, as well as group rehearsals, 1 on 1 instruction, sectionals, and much more.
The day culminates with a performance by the student ensemble at the Civic Center, prior to the DMSO Concert.
Immediately after the student performance, all students will be provided with FREE tickets to the Des Moines Symphony Concert. This is an educational opportunity you CANNOT MISS!
The DMLBT is made up of CASEY MADAY (trombone), WILL BAKER (bass trombone/euphonium), and BO ATLAS (tuba).
