Auld Lang Syne Sequence

This sequence is based on the old Scottish poem “Auld Lang Syne” by Robert Burns that was later set to the tune we all know and love. This song is about reflecting on the past year(s) while sharing a beverage with some friends, which is why it has become a New Year’s Eve favorite.

Strive for a resonant, singing sound, especially on the notes before your breathe. This melody is great for improving your major pentatonic scales, singing style, and ear-horn connection. Happy Practicing and Happy New Year!

    Will,
I’m a semi professional bass trombonist in NJ. I want to thank you. I was looking for Mr. Grinch to play for my grandson at Christmas. I did not want to pat 6 bucks for 16 mm of music. Thank you for making it available especially in keys I don;t use much, great practice. You are doing a great service. Count me in as a subscriber.
